Speculation is mounting that the Nestle owned Nespresso operation in Australia, which markets a proprietary coffee system promoted by George Clooney, is set to start selling their own coffee machines in Australia in a move that could impact several coffee machine manufacturers. During the past week a major Nespresso coffee machine manufacturer in Australia has approached ChannelNews claiming they are concerned that the Nestle owned Company will start selling their own coffee machines and that current manufacturers will be denied access to the proprietary Nespresso coffee system which is based around capsules that have to be purchased either online or via a Nespresso store.
